After five years in business, Chahinez was ready to move beyond the DIY look and invest in a cohesive brand identity that truly reflected her. With content that spans both sweet and savory recipes, the goal was to create a visual identity that felt fun, approachable, and unmistakably hers. This was such a joy to work on with so many fun touches and illustrations!

A key priority was developing a flexible logo system—something that could incorporate her full site name while still feeling clean and balanced, and include her name for brand recognition tied to her Instagram presence. We also created a bold, versatile icon that could stand alone across marketing materials or be subtly integrated into the logo without overwhelming the longer brand name. The final design captures her playful personality through retro-inspired details paired with a modern edge. This project was an absolute joy to bring to life, and I can't wait to see how the brand continues to grow.

The color palette for Lifestyle of a Foodie combines vibrant energy with nostalgic warmth. Each color was chosen to reflect the brand’s values of confidence, creativity, and approachability. Fireberry and Light Peach serve as primary tones, while complementary accents such as Plum and Olive add depth. Designed with accessibility in mind, the palette works across digital and print to create a consistent and accessible branding system.

These icons were unbelievably fun to create (um hello to the copycat icon!). This custom icon set captures the essence of her key content categories like cookies, breakfast, drinks, and small-batch recipes. These visual elements enhance navigation, reinforce brand recognition, and bring a friendly, illustrative style to every touchpoint. Used across the website, social platforms, and branded materials, the icons support both functionality and visual storytelling.
